Panagsama Beach, Cebu, Philippines

The beach is located in Barangay Basdiot, about three kms from the small town of Moalboal. Panagsama Beach is presently a rocky beach because a strong typhoon back in 1984 took away almost all the sand. Many visitors are divers, attracted by the low priced dive shops and the wide choices of dive spots teeming with marine life.
Panagsama Beach is divided into the northern and the southern part. The northern part of Panagsama Beach is where accommodations, restaurants, bars and stores are located. This is also where the nightlife is. The southern part is the softer side of Panagsama Beach. There are also a few restaurants and resorts in the area, but it is more spacious, much greener and quite peaceful.
